SALEH, Yusuf Saleh was born in 1979, at Anguwan Juma Compound, Zaria Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Nigeria. He received primary education at Tukur-Tukur Primary School (1989-1994), and secondary education at Government Secondary School, Zaria (1994-2000) both in Kaduna. He then proceeded to Federal College of Education, Zaria to obtain Nigeria Certificate in Education (2000-2003). Later, he started his Bachelor of Education in Language Arts Education (English) in 2004, and graduated in 2007, at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. In the same University, he obtained Master of Education in Teaching English as a Second Language (2009-2014). At present, he is preparing to start his Ph.D. in Education.

He has worked as a primary school teacher (2002-2004,), secondary school teacher (2004-2012), works with University of Georgia as an Instructor (2011-2013)participated in teaching as Facilitator National Teachers Institute (2014-2019) and Kaduna State College of Education, Gidan Waya as Lecturer 1 (2014-2019). 

His research interests broadly are in education but specifically include Language and Teacher Education, Phonetics and Phonology, Guidance and Counselling in Education, Comparative Education, Peace Education and Teacher Education. SALEH, Yusuf Sadau is happily married with children.
