The Vice-Chancellor of Federal University Lokoja, Professor Angela Freeman Miri on behalf of the University Management felicitates with Staff and Students of this great University on the joyous occasion of this year’s Christmas, commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ. The Vice-Chancellor made this known on Thursday, 24^th December, 2020 in a message to celebrate with Staff and Students in particular and indeed Nigerians in general, as Christians all over the world celebrate Christmas.

Professor Miri, who expressed gratitude to God for the successes the University recorded under her watch in the year which she described as quite challenging as a result of the coronavirus that is ravaging the entire country and the world at large, thanked the entire Members of the University Community for their cooperation, commitment and perseverance in the face of the daunting challenges caused by the global pandemic.

While wishing Members of Staff and Students Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year ahead, the Vice-Chancellor enjoined them to ensure they observe all the necessary COVID-19 protocols and guidelines throughout the yuletide season, in order to prevent further spread of the dreaded virus in the second wave of infections being witnessed in the country lately.
