The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olayemi Akinwumi on Wednesday, April
21, 2021 received Hospital/Medical Equipment, Laboratory items and Furniture for
the newly expanded and remodeled University Health Centre under the TETFund Annual
Intervention.
Among the items received were Digital Xray Machines, Dental Equipment,
Cardiopulmonary Monitors, Phototherapy Sets, Ultrasound Scanning Machines, 250
KVA Generator, amongst others.
While receiving the items, the Vice-Chancellor charged the Security Officers
of the University to provide adequate security coverage for the equipment.
Present with the Vice-Chancellor to receive the items were the Registrar, Mr.
Usman Suleman Obansa; Acting Head, University Health Services (UHS), Dr. Magnus
Chinemerem Ogaraku; Acting Director, Physical Planning and Development
Department (PP&DD), Engr. Olukayode Ojo; Chief Security Officer, Mr. Francis
Okeme; TETFund Desk Officer (Projects), Mr. Atabo Benjamin, and other officials
from Audit, Stores, including the end users in the Health Services: Nurses,
Medical Doctors, Pharmacists, Medical Laboratory Scientists and Administrators.
