The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olayemi Akinwumi and members of the University Management paid a courtesy call on Kogi-born oil magnate, Alhaji Abdulrazaq Isa Kutepa, Founder, Chairman/CEO of Waltersmith Petroman Oil Limited.

During the meeting which took place in Lagos, the renowned Lokoja indigene, entrepreneur and philanthropist, promised to assist Federal University Lokoja (FUL) in the areas of quality medical education, endowment of professorial chair, mining and geology.

Furthermore, Alhaji Kutepa promised to assist in building structures at the Permanent Site of the University Teaching Hospital, while pledging his unalloyed support to the Professor Akinwumi-led Administration in building a 21st Century University.

This far-reaching collaboration is in addition to Management's visit to the General Officer Commanding (GOC), 81 Division of the Nigerian Army, Major General U. T. Musa at Victoria Island, Lagos State.
