The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olayemi Akinwumi led other members of the University Management on a working visit to the Abuja branch of IPnetON - a Cisco Learning Partner and IT Training Company with headquarters in Berlin, Germany, for partnership in the area of delivering quality training to staff and students of the Federal University Lokoja (FUL).
IPnetON prides itself on having trained a majority of the most qualified professionals in the German IT workforce using its state-of-the-art technologies combined with experienced and highly qualified specialists that guarantee theoretically and practically balanced training programmes.
During the visit, members of FUL Management were conducted around the training facilities by the CEO of IPnetON GmbH Global Nigeria Ltd., Mr. Victor Chidi Ngwu, a close friend of the Vice-Chancellor who were together in Germany before relocating to Nigeria.
This important collaboration is among other ongoing efforts of Professor Akinwumi's Administration towards building a highly trained and skilled IT workforce that will drive the development of the University. See more pictures here
