THE GEN. MOHAMMED MAGORO CAMPUS READERS’ SCHOLARSHIP AWARD 2020 – CALL FOR PARTICIPATION

Standtall Africa Initiative (STAI) is inviting students from various faculties and departments of Federal University Lokoja to participate in the Gen. Mohammed Magoro Campus Readers Scholarship Award 2020. STAI is a renowned strategy implementation, leadership and capacity building training and educational consultancy organization that is committed to rebranding Africa via innovation leadership, quality education and practical entrepreneurship.

About the Competition:

The Gen. Mohammed Magoro Campus Readers Scholarship Award is one of the Scholarship Award Programmes specially designed to empower undergraduates of all tertiary institutions in Nigeria. The aim of the scholarship award is to promote effective reading culture among Nigeria undergraduates and brilliant students and empower them with study Scholarship for their tuition.

Participants shall sit for a screening examination and students that score the cut-off marks of 70% shall be short listed for the scholarship award.

Method of Selection of Participants:

Students from all faculties and departments with a CGPA of 2.50 and above shall be short listed and allowed to sit for the examination.

Part of the examination shall be a written examination while the other part shall be an online task.

Participants that meet the cut-off mark shall be given One Hundred Thousand Naira (N100,000.00) only each as study scholarship for the 2020/2021 academic session. All successful participants after receiving the scholarship shall further participate in the Students’ Face Of Reading Competition which is another educational competition to encourage effective reading among students in the state. The winner of the students’ face of reading shall walk away with a sum of One Million Naira (N1,000,000.00) only as the grand prize.
