Senior Lecturer
Dr. Jude Durojaiye KOFFA graduated with B.Sc. (Hons) Physics degree (second class upper division) in 2006 from Nasarawa State University Keffi. He obtained his Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Physics from Kogi state University, Anyigba in the year 2012 and 2017 respectively.
He started his University academic teaching career at the Department of Physics, Federal University Lokoja in 2012 as Assistant Lecturer and as one of the pioneer academic staff of the Department. He had earlier worked briefly as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Physics, Federal college of Education Okene same year before joining the services of Federal University Lokoja (FUL). As the pioneer exam officer of the department and having served in several other administrative positions, he had contributed greatly in positioning the department on the right path for growth and development as witnessed right now.
Dr. Jude’s research interest is in theoretical Physics and precisely in the area of General Relativity. He is also proficient in the formulation and mathematical solutions to physical problems. His articles have appeared in several reputable National and International Journals. He has also presented papers at conferences across the nation. He has become efficient and effective in teaching and research in Theoretical/Mathematical Physics at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels. Dr. Jude is an active member of the Nigerian Institute of Physics (NIP) and the National Association of Mathematical Physics (NAMP). He is married and blessed with children.
