Mr. Chris Yahaya is an experienced web administrator and social media officer who manages and updates the Federal University Lokoja's website and official social media platforms. He is the Head of the ICT/Media Section of the Vice-Chancellor’s Office. He provides ICT and technical support for the Vice-Chancellor and the office, and equally collaborate with the Public Affairs Unit for timely and effective information management and dissemination.

He is active and consistent in projecting the image of the Institution through constant upload of information and news which have given Federal University Lokoja more national and international visibility and contributed to its improved rankings locally and globally. 

As a pioneer staff of the Institution, he is responsible for documenting and keeping media records of activities and important events.

He is a multi-talented, innovative, hardworking, and passionate individual whose combination of ICT knowledge and experiences in web design, graphic design, photography, cinematography, photo editing, video editing, news reporting, content creation, and other multimedia skills, have given FUL quality media visibility.

He has received several awards/recognitions and letters of commendation from the University Management for his relentless efforts, outstanding performance, and selfless contributions to the progress and development of the University.

He holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Computer Science, a B.Sc in Information Technology, and is undergoing an M.Sc in Computer Science. Mr. Yahaya is a registered member of the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS), an umbrella organization for all information technology professionals, interest groups, and stakeholders in Nigeria. He currently serves as the P.R.O. II of the NCS, Kogi State Chapter, and Chairman of the Welfare Committee of the Vice-Chancellor's office.
