Atabo Nathaniel Odoma

Senior Lecturer

Atabo Nathaniel Odoma is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Geology, Federal University, Lokoja. He was formerly of the Department of Earth Science, Kogi State University, Anyigba where he rose through the ranks to the present rank of a Senior Lecturer.

Dr. Odoma born on the 12th May, 1973 had his primary and secondary school education at the C.M.M.L. Primary School and also C.M.M.L. Secondary School both in Anyigba where he had his FSLC and GCE O’level in 1983 and 1988 respectively. Thereafter he proceeded to the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria where also he had his B.Sc (Honours) and M.Sc Geology in 1996 and 2008 respectively. He later went to Kogi State University, Anyigba where he did his Ph.D in Geology with specialization in Palaeontology and Stratigraphy and finished in 2005. In the course of his Ph.Dprogramme at the Kogi State University, Anyigba, he was a recipient of the TETFund Senate award as a guest scientist for his bench work at the Federal Institute for Geosciences and Natural Resources (BGR), Hannover in Germany.

Dr. Odoma is married to Mrs Glory InikpiOdoma (Nee Adejo) and their union is blessed with children.
