Yabanet Lois was born in to the family of Late. Special Apostle Luka Yabanet. She is the 3rd in the family of four. She attended ABU Staff School and Demonstration Secondary School A.B.U. Zaria where she obtained her First School Leaving and Senior Secondary School Certificates in 1995 and 2001 respectively. For her quest for knowledge she went to Federal College of Education where she obtained her Nigeria Certificate in Education (English/Geography) in 2005. After obtaining her NCE, she proceeded to Ahmadu Bello University for her first degree in Library and Information Science (BLIS) in 2009. She obtained her second degree (Masters in Library and Information Science [MLS]) from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria in 2016. Before her employment with Federal University Lokoja, she worked with Kebbi State Polytechnic Dakingari as Librarian I. She is currently a staff with the Department of Library and Information Science of the Federal University, Lokoja, Kogi State, Nigeria.
