I obtained my Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Industrial Chemistry, from University of Ilorin, Nigeria in 2003 with Second Class Honours (Upper Division) and also had Master of Science in Industrial Chemistry (M. Sc) from the same University in 2009 before proceeding for my doctorate degree at the University of Hull, United Kingdom, where I was awarded PhD in Chemistry. Also, after pursuing the prescribed courses and satisfied the examiners, I was awarded Postgraduate Certificate in Research Training by the same University. In addition to the research work, I got additional teaching training and became an Associate Fellow of Higher Education Academy, United Kingdom. My lecturing career stated in 2008 with the department of Science Laboratory Technology, Kogi state polytechnic, Lokoja, as an assistant lecturer and I rose to the rank of Senior lecturer in 2018 before I decided to join the Department of Industrial Chemistry, Federal University, Lokoja, in 2019.
