Senior Lecturer

Dr. Habeeb A. Ayinla obtained his Ph.D. from the prestigeious University of Malaya, Malaysia after his MSc. training at University of Ibadan and BSc. at Unilorin. He works with Federal University Lokoja, Nigeria where is engaged in teaching and research, collaborating with other researchers in China, Malaysia, UK and Australia. Currently, he is employing integrated approaches in source rock evaluation and reservoir characterization of the Upper Benue Trough, Nigeria, and Muglad Basin, Sudan. Some of the methods include Organic geochemistry, Organic petrography, Sedimentology, and Petroleum geology in addressing petroleum generation, migration path-way, and accumulation issues as well as the organic  matter source input, paleodepositional, paleoclimatic settings, and paleoredox conditions of the basins,
