Earlier today, the University Management led by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olayemi Akinwumi met with a delegation from the national leadership of the Senior Staff Association of Nigeria Universities (SSANU) led by its National Vice Chairman and Chairman, North Central Zone, Comrade Nyiyongo Emmanuel, along with the executive of the Federal University Lokoja Chapter of the Union, led by its Branch Chairman, Comrade Adedeji Kazeem S.

The meeting discussed extensively the need for a harmonious working relationship between the Union and Management that will foster peace and guarantee industrial harmony in the fledgling University, while issues related to members' welfare were equally addressed during the round table discussion.
