A crucial element of this strategy is cultivating strategic partnerships with reputable Institutions within and outside Nigeria that would foster innovation and growth.

To this end, Professor Akinwumi, within the week, led a team of management staff to Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMinna) in Niger State to initiate discussions and collaborative drive that would stimulate the advancement of FUL's engineering faculty, thereby accelerating the University's academic progress.

At FUTMinna, Professor Akinwumi was warmly received by Professor Faruk Adamu Kuta, the Vice-Chancellor, who graciously hosted his esteemed colleague and friend. He emphasized the immense potential of this collaboration, noting its ability to bolster FUL's engineering programme and establish mutually beneficial relationships.

In a show of unwavering commitment, Professor Kuta pledged to support FUL in every area of need, promising to personally lead a team of experts to conduct an onsite assessment of the University. This resounding assurance given by FUTMinna VC reinforced his commitment and readiness to partner with other younger Institutions to engender academic growth and progress.
