Oluwakemi Mercy Emmanuel-Olowonubi is a member of the Society of Nigeria Theatre Artists (SONTA) and Author’s Licensing and Collecting Society (ALCS) UK. Currently, she is a Lecturer II in the Department of Theatre Arts, Federal University Lokoja, Kogi State, Nigeria. She holds M.A. degree in Performing Arts from the University of Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria. Oluwakemi has been a catalyst for change and has instilled a ‘sense of hope’ for many students. She teaches Play-writing, Dramatic Theories and Criticism, Gender Studies, Drama and Society, Modern Drama, Theatre Workshop and Performance in the Department. She has the capacity to provoke thoughts through literary criticism and social realities.
