It is my pleasure to warmly receive you to this vibrant community dedicated to academic excellence in the study of English Language and Literature. Since its establishment in 2011, the Department has remained committed to high-quality teaching, innovative research, and the intellectual development of students who are equipped to meet the demands of a dynamic and globalised world.

Our programmes are designed to provide students with strong competencies in English Language, Linguistics, and Literature,  while also nurturing critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication skills. We place strong emphasis on academic rigour and contemporary approaches to scholarship, ensuring that our graduates are well-prepared for diverse professional pathways in education, media, publishing, public service, creative industries, and beyond.
