FUL Appoints Mu'azu New Transport Officer as VC Charges Appointee to Deliver Efficient Transport Services

The Federal University Lokoja, FUL, has appointed Mr. Ahmed Mu'azu as the University's Transport Officer following the approval of the Vice Chancellor, Professor Gbenga Solomon Ibileye, with effect from June 24, 2026.

The Vice Chancellor charged the new Transport Officer, Ahmed Mu'azu, to justify the confidence reposed in him through professionalism, diligence, integrity, accountability and an unwavering commitment to duty. 

Professor Ibileye stressed that efficient transport services remain essential to the smooth running of the University and urged Mr. Mu'azu to ensure that the institution does not experience transport-related challenges.

Fielding questions from our reporter shortly after receiving his appointment letter, Mr. Mu'azu expressed profound appreciation to the Vice Chancellor and the University Management for finding him worthy of the responsibility.

He described the appointment as a call to greater service and pledged to justify the confidence reposed in him by discharging his duties with diligence, integrity and professionalism.

"I sincerely thank the Vice Chancellor and the University Management for this opportunity to serve. I see this appointment as an opportunity to contribute more to the University's growth. I will give my best to ensure that our transport system remains efficient, reliable and responsive to the needs of staff and students," he said.

According to the appointment letter, Mr. Mu'azu will report to the Director of Works and Maintenance Services and submit weekly activity reports on the management and utilization of University vehicles.

The University Management congratulates Mr. Mu'azu on his appointment and wishes him success in his new assignment.
