Objectives the Programme
By exposing students to advanced knowledge in the English Language and Literature disciplines, the programmes aim at producing scholars who would utilize their knowledge of the English Language and Literature in English, for human, national, African and global development. Such products would also be expected to apply their knowledge for the advancement of humanity, highlighting awareness, especially through equipping and motivating them for a full and balanced development of their personality and the need for replication and the refinement of the same.
