Indeed, the atmosphere was saturated with deep and uncontrollable emotions as Members of Senate of the Federal University Lokoja led by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olayemi Akinwumi poured in their tributes in honour of a selfless, loving and hardworking Academic, Professor Friday Garba Ogbe.

During the special Senate session, Members of Management, Provost, Deans, Directors and Heads of Departments took turns to recount some remarkable moments they had and the delightful personality of the deceased; just as many of them struggled to hold back their tears over the unfortunate and sad reality of his demise.

Adieu to a great Scholar! You will be greatly missed!
