.:: PHOTO NEWS: FUL 3rd Registrar, Mrs Rebecca Aimiohu Okojie Assumes Office as Adm Usman Suleman Obansa Bows Out

Earlier this week, Mrs Rebecca Aimiohu Okojie took over the mantle of leadership as the third Chief Administrator of the eleven-year-old University (FUL).

Mrs Okojie, who was accompanied by other astute administrators from the University of Ilorin, was warmly received by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academics), Professor M. S. Audu along with the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration), Professor A. E. Bala on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olayemi Akinwumi.

She was equally received by members of staff and students who came in their colourful cultural attires to welcome their new Registrar amidst cheers.

As part of the activities to usher her in, the new Registrar planted a tree in front of the Administrative block, Felele Campus to commemorate the historic event.

Mrs Okojie, a seasoned administrator of international repute, was appointed 3rd Registrar of Federal University Lokoja by the Governing Council on Thursday, 27th January, 2022 following an interview earlier conducted for the shortlisted candidates for the plum position on Wednesday, 26th January, 2022.

She took over from Adm Usman Suleman Obansa whose 5-year tenure came to a successful end on 15th February, 2022.

The high point of the event was the signing and presentation of handover notes between the new and the outgone Registrars.
