CSR: FUL Medical Team Visits Felele Community, Offers Free Medical Services

In furtherance of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to the host communities, the University Health Services (UHS) of the Federal University Lokoja (FUL) embarked on another community outreach to Felele Community in Lokoja on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, where it offered free BP checks, free medications, free tests, and health talk/sensitization to the good people of the host community.

In addition, the medical team raised awareness of the existence of the FUL Clinic at the Permanent Site, Felele as well as the University's readiness to offer quality healthcare services to the Felele community.

The group which comprised medical experts led by the Director UHS, Dr. Chinenye Otorkpa was warmly received by the Eleson of Felele and Chairman, Felele Traditional Council, H.R.H. Alhaji Alhassan Abdulkareem at his place in Isegba-Obah and extended the goodwill of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Olayemi Akinwumi, while assuring him of Management's commitment to sustaining the cordial relationship that exists between the University and the host community.

The traditional ruler and the beneficiaries who were full of gratitude thanked the University Management and the medical team for the kind gestures.

Other members of the health personnel during the community medical outreach included Dr. Yahaya Ogirima, Matrons Yunusa and Abdullahi, the Chief Pharmacist, among other health workers. See more pictures here
