The Vice-Chancellor of Thomas Adewumi University (TAU), Professor Francisca Oladipo was pictured while teaching the students of the University a course in Computer Science called "Compiler Construction" during a class session as seen in the photographs.
"Glad to be back in the classroom, chalking it down the tradie way @Thomas Adewumi University," the ICT don remarked in a post made by her on Facebook.
Until she was appointed TAU VC, Professor Oladipo was the Head of Computer Science Department and pioneer Director, Quality Assurance at the Federal University Lokoja (FUL).
Since she assumed office on August 2, 2022, the erudite Professor of Computing has been working hard to ensure that the fast-growing and one of Nigeria’s foremost STEM ecosystems - TAU - is well positioned to compete nationally and internationally.
Her impressive performance and track record within six (6) months in the office recently earned a letter of appreciation from TAU Founder and Chancellor, Engr. Dr. Johnson Bamidele Adewumi, which he wrote personally to commend her efforts and to, once again, thank the Vice-Chancellor, Federal University Lokoja, Professor Olayemi Akinwumi for releasing her when the young University (TAU) was in dire need of a forward-looking, result-oriented, and innovative VC to pilot the affairs and take the promising University to an enviable height.
