Who we are

• One of G12 universities established by the administration of former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan GCFR in 2011/2012
• Prides ourselves as the University at the Head-of-the-G12Table- stamped indelibly by boldly asking for the hosting rights of this workshop
• Student population of over 12000 students
• Six Faculties and a College of Health Sciences

The Challenge

The administrative landscape of Nigerian universities has become increasingly unpredictable  and buffeted by all sorts of winds –economic, political, ethnicity, religious intolerance, industrial unrest, etc  and so have become the complexity of our mandates

Expected outcomes of this conference

• Refine our understanding of our roles, define our priorities, and how we can be better equipped to be effective at our jobs
• Should equip us to build more responsive and accountable registries
• More strategic collaborations, share experiences, build valuable networks and strengths – net work =net worth
• Be better able to carry out our tripartite roles of strategic partners, employee advocates and change agents

Soft Side of the Workshop

I invite and urge you to attend all the events put in place to help us truly relax before we return to our 24/7 schedules – visits to tourist attractions, gala night etc.
