FUL Staff Members Bag Fellowship Award for Human Capital Development, As CIHCDN Inducts New Members

The Chartered Institute of Human Capital Development of Nigeria (CIHCDN), has conferred Fellowship awards on Professor Musa Adeku Ibrahim, f.hcd, Director, Distance and E-learning and HOD, Mathematics; and Mr. Ojo Vincent Ifedayo, f.hcd, Deputy Registrar, Senate Affairs.
The duo, who are staff of the Federal University Lokoja (FUL), became Fellows during the Institute's Second Session Mandatory Talent Development and Special Induction Programme tagged "Redefining the Nigerian Economy, AI Application in Education, Skill Development and Youth Employability," held recently at the Federal University Lokoja.
The CIHCDN is Nigeria’s fastest-growing institute dedicated to workforce learning and human capital development with members drawn from more than 28 professional bodies in Nigeria and connected internationally with more than 10 international partners.
Following the successful hosting of this year's event, members of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) which included Mrs. Henrietta O. Akingbade, f.hcd (Coordinator and Chairperson), Dr. Silas Joshua, f.hcd and Mr. Constant Danlami Lakpini, f.hcd, expressed unreserved appreciation to the Chairman, Board of Trustees and Council, Cyril AZ. Ogboli, f.hcd; the Chairman, Abuja Chapter and Coordinators Forum, Mr. Siaka Omolowo Aniwe, f.hcd; and a member of the Advisory Board of the Institute, Prof. Onyeke Alphaeus Onyeke, f.hcd, for their tremendous support and respective roles in ensuring the success of the event.
Similarly, in a note of appreciation, the Institute specially thanked the Vice-Chancellor, Federal University Lokoja, Prof. Olayemi Akinwumi, f.hcd; the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic, Prof. M.S. Audu (who delivered the keynote address); Prof. Renew Adefiranye, f.hcd; and Mr. Salihu Anako, f.hcd, for giving all the needed support.
The professional body equally extended its appreciation to the Chief of Staff to Kogi State Governor, Pharm. Mohammed Jamiu Asuku Abdulkareem; Accountant General of Kogi State, Alh. Momoh Jibrin; Commissioner, Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs (MLGCA), Barr. Salami Momodu Ozigi Deedat; Permanent Secretary, MLGCA, Hajiya Habibat Oyiza Tijjani, f.hcd; and DG Kogi State Government House, Alh. Shaibu Umar Oricha.
Other eminent personalities appreciated by CIHCDN included the APC Governorship Candidate, Alh. Ododo Ahmed Usman; Kogi State APC Chairman, Hon. Abdullahi Bello; DG Pension, Haj. Mariam Abedo; Mr. Lekan Akingbade; as well as other stakeholders and members of the Institute who traveled across the length and breadth of Nigeria to grace the important occasion.
