My dear students & esteemed colleagues,
On this joyous occasion of Easter, I extend warm greetings to all of you, particularly the Christian members of our University Community. Easter is a period that calls for sober reflection and appreciation of the sacrifices of Jesus Christ and His undying love for humanity, amongst other exemplary virtues.
I want to use this auspicious occasion to urge us to unite in prayers and extend our goodwill for the prosperity and progress of our dear Institution - the Federal University Lokoja. Through dogged commitment, determination, hard work, resilience, and discipline, we can surmount our challenges and take FUL to enviable heights.
As we steadfastly strive towards the noble goal of building a world-class university, let us collectively imbibe the teachings, selflessness, and sacrificial life of Jesus Christ as we work harmoniously towards making FUL, Kogi State, Nigeria, and the world at large a better place.
Wishing you all a blessed Easter filled with joy, peace, and happiness.
Warm Regards,
Professor Olayemi Akinwumi
Vice-Chancellor, Federal University Lokoja
