Wan Christopher Nyam was born on December 27, 1983 to a family of 4 siblings. He is Aten by Tribe from Riyom Local government council from Plateau State. He attended Mafeng Private school Jos and then went to St. Joseph College Vom where he got his SSCE in 2001. He then went to Babcock University Ilshan Remo Ogun State to pursue his studies further and graduated in 2006 with a Bsc in Business Administration.
Thereafter, he served his country under the National Youth Served Corp. (NYSC) program in Niger State in Lapai Local Government Council where he took up teaching in Galadima Primary school as his primary (PPA). He holds a Master’s(MBA) In Business Management from the Nasarawa State University Keffi in 2018 in Business Administration.
He acquired 12 Years Banking experience from Unity Bank Plc and Sterling Bank Plc respectively and held different administrative positions in the Bank from Customer Service Function, Cash Officer and Branch Service Manager to relationship Manager and also served as an Ag. Branch Manager.
He attended Conferences/Training attended in the banking sector such as persuasive Presentation Skills, Selling for profit program, AML/CFT compliance training, Business Writing and presentation, Financial Statements Analysis, Basic Credit Analysis & Risk Management, Accounting for Non Accountants.
In his recent quest for knowledge and research he decided to diversify from his Banking Career to take up a new challenge in Academics as a lecturer.
He is currently in the Department of Business Administration in Federal University Lokoja.
