ALI, Duze Daniel was born on 20th, 1965 at Badoko to the family of Mr. Ali Dodo of Badoko, Eganyi in Ajaokuta Local Government Area of Kogi State. He started his primary education at the then LSMB School, Eganyi in 1973. He was brought up by his uncle who was a Civil Servant. As a result of frequent transfer of his uncle, he experienced frequent transfers from one primary school to another (i.e Army Children School "44" Kaduna, KrunaAsabe Primary School, Kano etc.). He finally completed his primary school at First Baptist Primary School, Offa, Kwara State in 1980. And in 1981, he commenced his secondary education at the Anglican College of Commerce, Offa and completed it in 1985.
He proceeded to Kwara State College of Education, Ilorin in 1988 to study English Language and Government and graduated from the college in 1991 with full NCE.
He was admitted to the prestigious University of Nigeria, Nsukka where he obtained a Degree (BA.Ed.) in English Language/Education in 2004.
He went back to UNN to pursue Post Graduate Studies (M.Ed.) in English Language Education in 2014/2015 Academic session and bagged his (M.Ed.) English Language Education in 2017.
He is an experienced educationist. He has taught in several places namely; Government Secondary School, Ebiya, Ajaokuta LGA; Community Comprehensive Secondary High School, Eganyi; and N.C.E/DLS, Adogo Study Centre to mention just a few.
He had worked in several organizations before he was employed as an Assistant Lecturer by the Federal University Lokoja in July 18, 2019. He worked in Government Secondary School, Ebiya from 1992 to 1995 and later, he was appointed as Public Relations Officer (P.R.O) to AjaokutaLGEA in which capacity he served from 1996 - 2005. Thereafter, he became the Administrative Secretary to the Ajaokuta LGTC from 2005 to 2019 before his employment into the University.
His research interests among others are in theories of Language Development; Methods in and Resources for Language Educations; Issues in Language Education etc. He is a sportsman. He plays football and reads. He is married and blessed with children.
