The Federal University Lokoja was established along with other eight (8) Federal universities on the 16th February, 2011.
The University, whose vision is to be the best among the nine newly established Federal universities in Nigeria in 2011 and one of the top ten ranking universities in Africa, is celebrating eight (8) years of academic growth and development.
On behalf of the University Management, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Angela Freeman Miri, uses this medium to heartily congratulate all members of the University Community as we mark another milestone in the history of our great citadel of learning.
In the same vein, the Management wishes to appreciate the efforts of both staff and students and the roles each has played over these years of our great struggle to achieve the vision of our founding fathers, while looking forward for greater commitment and support of all and sundry toward actualizing our collective dreams.
Thank you.
